Most likely wheel bearing, but it could be a bad bushing or ball joint too.

Did you just replace the axle? Is the axle nut tightened enough?

if you grab a hold of you wheel and if can make it "wobble" it in it out vertically, i think thats how you check the ball joint if its bad. Its one way for ball joint, and another for wheel bearing. Fabrik8 might know what im talking about and maybe could re-say it to make more sense.

If the balljoint breaks lemme tell you from experience it will practically rip your fender off and your lucky if you dont wreck when it happens

It's not wheel balance.

To check the ball joint, have the car jacked up from the subframe or unibody or whatever just not from the suspension/lca. Grab the tire top and bottom and shake it, if you feel a looseness in it it's usually a ball joint (although if your axle nut is loose it will do this too so check that first if it's a new axle and somebody just had that nut off.)

Grabbing the tire on the sides and it being loose indicates worn tie rods.
