Default civic swap questions

i have a 1991 Civic Hatch Base, meaning 4spd manual, no abs/ps, 2mirrors, ect...has front end damage.

im thinking of buying a wagon shell.

will the stock motor from the hatch swap directly into a 4wd/awd civic wagon? if not, what would need to be done?

thanks!

Op,

Your SOHC out of the hatch will bolt in. You might have to swap a few things from the AWD to the hatch's engine depending if the new engine is DPFI. If both motors are MPFI it will be an easy swap.

One thing that you will have to swap no matter what is the oil pan. This is what I have been told I have not checked to make 100% sure.
