civic idles high
when i start my car, it idles hight around 2500 rpms and after about 5 minutes it goes down to 900 rpms, anyone know how to fix it? it only does it when it gets cold, but when it's warm it still does it but idles at 1500!

Did it just start doing this? Is it a swap or original engine? Does it do it when it's restarted after it's warmed up or just when it's cold and hasn't been driven?
Maybe coolant temp sensor, maybe fast idle thermo valve.. Could be a couple of things actually. Need more info, anyone have any other ideas?

it's a ex motor in a dx body,after it warms up, it doesn't do it as bad but still does it. it's been doing it for a couple of months,it dosen't do it as high when it's warm!
