Lightbulb civic d16 REV Limit

OK so i have a civic ex with a d16 motor and having rev problems. i have a p28 ecu in it but its not revving properly...can anyone help? do i have the wrong ecu or what else could be wrong

p28 is for the z6 so yeah...not sure what motor you have or what on board diagnostics you have from the engine. but you should match it

It's your fuel map, it's got a nasty hole. That's why you're unloading in third.

The correct rev limit on a D16 should be 12.5k just get one chipped for that and you will be good dude. Or what I would do is a dual weber side draft setup with msd set at 16k run like somebody pissed in your wheaties this morning.

I got the car and the guy was running a p06 in a d16z6 which was the wrong ecu so I got me the p28 and yes it manual but it wont pass 6 wen I rev it or step on it and the check engine light it on and my speeddometer jumps so,time but my rpm gauge dont and it suppose to rev up to 7200 rpm but it not just stop right at 6100 any suggestions
