Default Civic alternator
Hey I have an 89 ef hatch with a d15b2 multiport swap. My alternator is dead, so I started to unbolt it. Once it was unbolted I couldn’t get it out of the car. It can’t fit it between the axel, around the master cylinder, or under the intake manifold. Is there a certain way I should do this?

i can usually snake them out under the manifold. . but yeah. pull out the axles for easy access

any other way. i always have trouble with axels. i can never get it out and if i do then i cant get it back in.

thanks for the replies. i got it out by taking off the driverside tire and the plastic around it and it slid right out.
