How do you know it isn't charging the battery? Have you measured the voltage at the battery when the engine is running? Have you checked that your ground cables are connected and have continuity end to end?

Yep, sounds like a ground problem. If you don't know how to find your ground cables, you need some outside help to diagnose what's going on. There should be a ground cable that goes from your battery to your engine block or chassis, and one that goes from the engine block to the chassis. I don't remember how Honda does it, the basic idea is that your engine block, chassis, and negative battery terminal all have to be connected together electrically. I'm guessing one of those is loose, corroded, or has a broken terminal. You need to grab a multimeter and check out your charging voltage, etc. If you don't know what to do, grab a friend who does and you should find out what's wrong very fast.
