check engine lights comes on after rear disc install
i have a 94 coupe dx no abs..and the rear disc i got is from i believe a 96 integra with abs..
so after doing the install i started up my car and my check engine light comes on.
ive resetted the battery and even taken the ecu fuse out for 30 seconds even. and the CEL is still on.
what can it be?

scan it and find out. i dont see why it would have anything to do with your install. if you dont know someone with a scanner, advanced will do it for free

Re: check engine lights comes on after rear disc install
I don't think it has anything to do with the brake install, I think it's purely coincidence. If you have non-ABS brakes, and didn't touch any electrical wires, you couldn't have damaged anything electrical. If you damaged a 5V-powered wheel speed sensor or something like that, then you could have damaged the ECU. (which is supplying the 5V power). That would be the only possible explanation, and that's REALLY stretching the bounds of reality.
