Re: car wont start
Did you mark your lines when setting the distributor?
Do you have it in place right?
Is it running at it's sweet spot? true zero?
When you did the plugs did you gap them?
Do the wires have heat shields? Are they on the right way? all the way??
Did you forget to connect anything else when you put your shit back in?? Is the fork all the way tightened down on the Distributor to keep it from moving?
Did you time it at all with the distributor loose??
Are the wires ALL TIGHT AND GOOD??
And double check firing order... Also...i just reread - looks like you didn't change distributor, just the rotor...Did you mess up the distributor's position in the process??
why'd you change all this at once, and not one at a time...did you start inbetween the jobs?
Also, You mention the fuel filter - that's the part that gets me going a bit here...b/c it sounds like it's turning over but not getting enough fuel to start...did you mess with the pump any when doing the filter? did you put the filter on the right way (there's a proper way for the flow it has an arrow on it usually) is it the right filter for the car??
