Cool CAR WONT START.

Ok here is another "Please help my car won't start thread".I really feel like a dumb ass but, I am finaly done getting my turbo d series EK put together and went to start it and it just wouldn't turn over. I double and tripple checked everything, injectors, spark plugs gaped to .030, good oil preasure everything. Not throwing any CEls at the moment with my P28 chiped with a crome base map w/450's at 9 psi. Is there anything else i should check? If anyone has some free time to come check this out they would be compensated for thier time and it would be greatly apriciated. This is my first turbo set up and i am stumped, please help.

*edit* Just checked spark and i definately have it so dizzy is good.

i would check the things that you have changed, such as the ecu.is it getting spark across all 4 cylinders, and are you sure they are all getting fuel?

Yup definately getting fuel. Pulled the plugs and they reeked of gas. As far as spark im not 100% on that but the car was getting spark a month ago on the same ignition setup.

to check ignition either buy a tester or ground one of the plugs out on your block with it conected to the plug wire and turn the engine over. Its either your getting too much fuel or not enough spark. Check over your major systems ecu, plug wires(ohms), plugs, ect

check and see if your injectes are good.. Injecters can get stuck open but thats nt liking happening because it would of filled your cylinders.

another easy way to check spark(its not usually reccomended) but you can just have someone crank the motor as you hold the spark plug near the dizzy cap, with enough gap to see inbetween

Cool Re: CAR WONT START.

Do you think it would help if i hooked up my MSD SCI and blaster coil for a stronger spark?

spark fuel compression computer

already checked fuel

check spark by un screwing one at a time leaving it connect to the plug wire and hold it close to your shock tower or something and look for a decent size bright ELECTRICAL spark

compression check the motor make sure it is where it needs to be.

get a ohm meter and a printout of your pinouts and make sure you are getting power where you need it

after all of those steps then come back

also is the motor turning over just not starting or is the motor not trning over at all?
