car stalls on acceleration?
ok, well I drive a 88 crx STOCK. Sometimes when I am like at a stop light and I go I am in first gear, and when its in gear and I push the gas it seems to be STALLING to accelerate. Like its not all the way in gear. Like i didn't let go of the clutch all the way, but i LIFT my whole foot of the clutch when I feel it happening. Its in first and all, I know how to drive my own car. Its just suddenly happening. Like the clutch is sticking.

I'm having this prob with a car I just bought. And Yes, I can drive manual just fine. Anyways, check your plugs and wires. I've got a 96 Eclipse with a leaking valve cover and 420a engine. The plug wells are on top of the motor, the connectors are known to be prone to this prob. So I pulled the wires and sure enough there's oil in them. It causes misfire which gives erratic shaking below 2800 rpm. Or if you're new to a 5speed, practice. Good luck.
