Car idle high!!

Car idle high!!
I have an 93 civic ex... the past few days i have notice that when i start my car up when it cold it idle at 3 grand but once warm it goes to normal what could be wrong with i have ran out of reason!!! help plz

Your IAC(Idle Air Control) valve is functioning properly. The car will start and idle higher when cold. It does that so you can drive the car at its proper operating temperature sooner.

NVM...derp derp.
But 3k seems a tad high. The 5 Honda's I've owned never idled that high on startup. Even on super cold 15degree days.
