Default CAms on a Stock GSR?!?!?

What cams could i use on a stock valvetrain on my beater (daily driver ) gsr. Im not looking for huge gains, just a little more umph.... SKunK2 stage 2 i heard would work on a stock valvetrain?

anything more agressive then stage 1 or 2 and no... you'd get valve float and all sortsa shiznizzle.

Throw in a type r intake cam, you can use adjustable cam gears if you want but you dont have to !!!

I laid down 165.6 to the wheels with 98 gsr type r int cam aem cold air dc 4into1 and apex cat back!!!

Trust me just installing the intake cam you will feel a difference.
Pulls hard all the way to 8000rpm!!

toda vtec killers!!! do it do it do it!!! lol... hmmm CTR/ITR cams are great in the GSRs. That's the good stuff..make sure you get some cam gears to tune those badboys. hope that helps.crs

If you get skunk2 stage 2 you'd prolly have to get the valvetrain set with valvesprings and retainers. I say go with some itr cams. Be sure to get them tuned well though.

get a civic type r intake cam and a integra type r exhuast cam.

the civic cam is slightly more aggressive and should work well!
