You'd be better off getting some new cams if those are scored. You'd need to find a machine shop with a precision cam grinding machine, and that would be very rare unless they manufacture cams. Just get some aftermarket cams, there are lots of choices on the market for all of the popular Honda engines.

The head scoring (if very minor) can be fixed by a machine shop if they have the equipment to align hone the head/caps together, but you might as well wait until you buy new cams so the shop can spec the journal bore size accordingly..

No, I can't ID them, sorry. They really aren't worth keeping in that condition though.

Actually, looking at the top left picture, there aren't any grooves on the ends.. That tells me, if they're stock Honda cams, that they're 89-91 B16 cams most likely. The raised J and K probably say that they're stock cams, because most aftermarket cam billets don't have anything like that.

Those aren't ITR cams, or later B16 cams, they would have at least one groove cut into them past that outside raised shoulder in the upper left pic, on both the intake and exhaust. Where and how many grooves seems to follow the year and whether they're USDM or JDM, but they all have grooves. Yours have none, which says that they're likely the early milder profile B16 cams.

I hope you didn't get ripped off thinking they were ITR cams?

Good. We may both be wrong, but at least we agree.

i talked to a shop around here about getting a head and its cam caps align honed and they told me it wasn't worth it. that was with a ported head too. but then again, my head is pretty bad and they were talking about having to weld in some of the grooves that were left in the head and caps.
