burent valves=smokey motor??
can burent valves make a motor smoke,im trying to figure out why my past 2 motors have started to smoke which means i need to know if valves can cause a motor to smoke,or is it strictly rings and valve seals??

well have you done a compression test? aron informed me on mine to dump a cap full of oil thru spark hole...do a compression test again...if you get some psi...then its the rings...if still no comnpression..its in the head. peace

Bad valve seals, worn rings or broken pistons is what normally causes smoke, burnt valves will normally cause low or no compression.

ohh no the motor ran great, strong compression and no loss in power, and basically stock motors with intake and exhaust and 2 layer headgaskets
