recently my 93 civic ex (auto) has been having some bouncy idle problems. The car drives very smooth, it starts up great and idles normal when in drive. When the car is put in park the idle will bounce almost like im reving the engine; the rev doesn't really go over 15-1800 when it's "bouncing"...any help is greatly appreciated.

I tried searching the forums and couldn't really find much. The car is pretty much bone stock, it has one of those fart can mufflers on it but im trying to find a stock one to replace it and it has a short ram intake on it.

Im not sure but my old car was doing the same thing(after being parked for months) and when i checked under the hood the TPS was unplugged.

i ended up pulling of the throttle body and cleaned it inside an out. car runs just like new now.

i had the same problem but in my 00 bmw...there was low psi in the cylinders...could be that...if thats the case you can get stuff called RESTORE and mix about 2 cans of that in with an oil change. do this and then again at 1k miles, then again at 4k more. I did this and saved myslef 3k+ on a new engine that Auto Haus insisted i needed...
