You should port match as much as possible. There is no point in having a ported head if the ports on the intake mani are smaller than the ports on the head...

yeah i mean ported but thanks my car is running like shit and i was wondering was that the problem. i had someone build a minime for me and for some reason it is running bad

When you just let it idle does it have any problems? Does it idle low/high? Are you throwing any engine codes? A faulty IAT sensor may cause it to run rich.

Your head might be ported too much and you're having a problem with velocity at low flow rates. It's a common problem, especially if the ECU hasn't been tuned. The cylinders don't fill properly at low RPM if you have too much flow and not enough velocity.. Of course, if you're running the wrong ECU for your engine than it might idle like crap too.
