Default Boost Spiking problems!!!??

Yeah so ...Once agian turbo gremlines are after me . Ive got a manual GReddy Boostcontroller setup and its cranked as low as it will go. It will steadyly get to 5 or 6 lbs then spike right away to around 8 or 10 . Ive tried to unhook the MBC and it spiked even worse ...You guys have any ideas here ??? GReddy Kit with Internal Wastegate.

the wastegate might be innefficient and you can get it ported... thats at least what happens with STi's with Turbo back exhausts on them.. get crazy boost creep until you get it ported because the wastegate doesnt allow enough exhaust to get out to properly controll boost.

Ok cool ...I might port that fucker myself with a dremel. I hate taking the damn exhaust back off though

more than likely, the atmospheric changes have thrown off your boost gauge. I read 8-10 psi all the time....

Low vacuum and the MBC problem.... might be a vac leak, check all your lines and connectors.

She ran pretty well tonigh t..Other than some FMU Bog but it kept dying at some redlights due to low idle
