Default Boost or N/a?

Alright, this has been a long and discussed topic I'm sure of it. But I still cannot come down to any good reasoning or choices. I need some opinions. I would like to achieve a 12 second street car. I don't want to spend so much money, say over 6 grand. I want to build a budget motor, while reaching the 12's. I can't figure out what I should do to reach that goal. Boost a D-series? Boost a b-series? Build an LS/VTEC setup? There's so many choices but I need some help! I need some input and we'll discuss it from there...

Listen.

Make a setup that has potential to grow later on. You don't want a setup that you build, then gotta tear back apart to go a little faster.

Thats all I'm saying on the subject.

All I really want is 12's. I would be more than happy with that.

Thats what you say now. Everyone who builds a car knows they want 10's. 12's is the new 14's.

Definitely +1 on the turbo setup listed. I'd go with the 50trim, as it promotes a wider power band than the 60trim.

Also, if you are only focusing on ET's, you could use a small shot of nitrous out of the hole to improve 60' times.
