boost cut at 4000rpm in every gear
 
Just recently installed a t3t4 with a mini ram and open 3 inch down pipe 440 rc's as well as phearable base map.If anyone has any ideas as to what might be wrong please respond to thread.

What car? What engine? What amount of boost? Why are you going to 4000 RPM in every gear on a base map before being tuned?

map sensor?




sounds like your base tune isnt set up for boost..

Yes, probably MAP sensor cutting out at 11 psi or whatever the OEM MAP sensor flatlines at.. And it sounds like the base tune is a base tune, not a tuned tune.

when the ecu isnt setup to delete the map sensor readings it cuts as soon as it gets positive pressure that it cant comprehend..



which isnt even 1 psi..



if he had the old school missing link setup then it wont cut boost because it wont ever read positive pressure..
