i would like to see a pic of these cam markings on how to tell these cams apart from any other cam if anyone has a pic or anything would be sweet the cams i have have a b on the end of both of them. post a pic in the thread would be awesome i have searched for hours and came up with nothing.

I spent 2 minutes reading after I Googled "Blox cam identify" and found out the answer. They have an X in the middle, cast into the cam billet.

My usual answer is that if you can't identify what you've just bought, don't use it.

I read the same thing, but I read on some Honda Tech threads that the X might not signify anything.

Some people get Blox cams with a B on it. Some got an X lol.

And other people say they have called Blox personally and the Blox people say there is no identifying mark for their cams. That you would have to get the specs and compare to Blox specs on their site.


Some user on Honda Tech:
""About all you can do is measure cam lift and multiply it times the rocker ratio and then compare it to the specs listed on their web site to see if they match. Blox uses new cores made by someone else when they grind them so the only markings on them are whatever the cores have on them, not any part number or specs.""

yeah odyssey and that what i was going to do next man i had read the honda tech stuff and all and yeah no part numbers at all so going to mic them thanks for the help i know that they are blox fabrik just wanted a way to tell type b from c
