i bought a head that came with a blox intake manni,last night when i finished it was running(ideling)at about 3500 rpms and sounded like it had a leak,today i discovered the intake gasket was no good,and that the top studs were too short,fixed all that but now its still at about 1700 rpm or so,but my o rings are shot n leaking fuel so i can't let it run to warm up to see where its at once it gets to temp,but i'm pretty sure its still gonna idel high after it warms.any one ever installed one on a 91 da?it also came with a tb thats been ported,but i don't know what its from.i also already adjusted the throttle cable.any one installed one please help me out,thanks

was it a stock ported throttle bodie and a hondata intake gasket?

i'm sure it was a some honda t.body,the intake gasket i dont know about,it had 3 layers and thick as hell,the gasket came with it when i bought it

checked your tps and map sensor

First, get new O-rings.

Then, reset your ECU.

Then see what happens.

can i use the sensors from the intake that came off my car,i looked at the tps and it doesn't look like it has screws...how does is come off?

u gotta grind flathead slots into the screws to get them out. then use new screws to install it in the throttle body. then u need a voltmeter and have to adjust the tps so that it reads .45v at closed and 4.5 at wide open throttle.

maybe the gasket on the tb is messed up also did u take all the gasket off the intake mani?

yeah i cleaned both surfaces good,about to put o rings on,let ya'll know how it goes

well,changed every thing but the tps and its ideling around 1200,so tomorrow i'll swap that with the one that was on my car before
