block part differences between h22a4 and a1
Hello I have a h22a4 and i have found a h22a1 absolute bare block that is sleeved that i would like to buy. My question is what are the differences between the A1 and the A4 block and their parts that wouldn't allow me to transfer everything from the A4 block into the A1 block? I have read that the main journals in the A4 are different than the A1 except in a 97 A4. Other than that will all of the parts transfer over?

The SH uses ATTS. Use Google, but I'm almost positive the blocks are the same; I've read SH cams and A1 cams are the same so. . .

If its the base model a4 everything will transfer over! Just remember use a oil pump from a a4 so you can keep your crank sensor!
