b20b/p8r head turbo build

people been telling me to get a vtec head instead of using the p8r head for boost which one be better? Should i sleeve the block or leave it stock what shld i do i need opoinions? the motor is in a 94 civic ex coupe b20b

B20 vtec boosted will not last by any means unless you sleeve it. If you are in budget, p8r is the way to go.

Sleeve it, Like said above, the Block won't last being boosted.

State your power goal, budget, and plans for the car (DD, track whore or both), and we can better help you. You have lots of options, depending on what you're shooting for.

i have a p8r head on there now i just want to boost it after i get the block sleeve and have the motor last for a while till the build i also heard the internals suck to idk.and what sleeves wld be good as of pistons,rods,and everything esle.I'm looking to get about 300hp-400hp on low boost by june 9

You can keep what you have on there I would recommend upgrading all the supporting items like fuel system, ignition system, get an intake
Manifold like skunk 2 or something that flows better, fully programable engine management or program like chrome on your ecu.
So where did you come up with these power goals and what is your intentions or use for the car anyways? With a basic turbo setup in that car you should be happy for awhile.

well first i think 300-400Hp is good enough for a front wheel drive daily and track use.And my intentions are just abuse it on weekends racing and bs around just wanna go fast
