B18gsr swap in 94 coupe dx Code 9 and 17
hey Guys,
Im just finished my Poor-mans type r swap.
B18c block 16 head.
dx harness and ex sub-harness(i believe)
The Car runs fine. but it still trow 2 Codes 9 and 17.
I try to get the car tuned on Sunday. But have to fix codes first.
I checked the resistance from wires.(Code 9)
B15/b16 370ohm
b13/b14 369ohm
b11/b12 368ohm
i try a other ecu
bofore buy a other dizzy i wanna make my dizzy is bad.
check on the dizzy side and ecu side.
changed rotor
Anybody have a idear what i missed.

Well, the vehicle speed sensor isn't in the distributor, so a new distributor definitely won't fix that.
So which wires were you checking the resistance of? Were you testing at the distributor connector? Checking resistance of the sensor coils (which is what you're doing) will only test one failure mode (a coil failure, or the connection to that coil) but there are also the mechanical failure modes and the other electrical failure modes (like a broken wire between the distributor and the ECU).
