Default b18b1 start-up problem!

When i first got the car when you first started it up after leaving it alone for awhile it kinda did a sputter bog until i hit the gas for a few seconds then it would idle/drive just fine. I left it alone for a few days and when to go start it the other day and it cranks but doesnt want to turn. Could it be a injector or rather a fuel pump problem?

Cranks but doesnt want to turn?? Sounds like a dying battery if i would have to guess need specifics. Does it sound like somethings clicking or does it turnover at regular speed??

Also sounds like a possible head gasket. Water in cyl would slow the cranking significantly but it would be smoking bad if it was like that.

thats a pretty rash assessment lol. if its turning over at reg speed just not firing i would look into ur fuel system. get some ether and shoot it in past ur TB (not to much) then see if it fires. if it fires then dies right out it sounds like u have a fuel problem.

Its a very bland explanation he says it cranks but doesnt turn, so starter, hydrolock, or battery only 3 things to cause a slow crank

injector i doubt thats the problem. Fuel pump wouldnt go BAD from just sitting around. How long did it sit? Bad gas in the tank possibly? plus if the fuel pump was the cause it would not start at all. Do you have full spark?! no archin due to faulty wires or have you checked to make sure the plugs arent faulty....

Check the basics.. Battery, spark, fuel...

same thing happened to me, go get your batterie checked and advanced. They did mine and i found that my volts were 10.388 and i didnt even have a cold crank. They usually have used batteries if your hard on money for the moment for around $35.00
