B18b1 ???????

anyone know how much hp and torque the bottom end and tranny can take with out breakin somthin............I'm lookin to push close to 300 hp with various mods...no turbo..

Bert Apr 21, 2003 02:54 PM

300hp no turbo?...you aren't going to acheive that all motor unless you spray...i really not sure on the capacity of the b18b but i know the crank is strong and can handle 400hp...the sleeves, rods, pistons, etc are another story...

YES.........nitrous is good!!!:D

Gold Eg Apr 22, 2003 07:04 AM

with nitrous the 300hp mark isn't too far fetched!

Bert Apr 22, 2003 09:39 AM

obviously if you spray you won't be all motor...what i meant to say was the only way to acheive 300hp is to spray...oopss...

can u explain this....sounds like one of those home made pointless mods. and also anything of to much is bad, wat if you freeze your motor or it will take 3 years to get it warmed up
