b17a1 swap now having a problem
obd0 converted to obd1 with a conversion harness for both the ecu and dizzy, then dropped in the b17a1, keep in mind this all came out of a running da into mine. The motor is partially built low comp, and im running everything the same as in the other car except im running obd0 injectors. now my problem is i can get the car to idle fine, but when i open the throttle it will jump for a second then bog down, i have no idea whats going on with it, please help.

Good question..... But would the car even run long enough to drive it? I remember when I built my first turbo car and i had the resistor box wired in per Hasport's directions (directions were for an DC2 and I have a EG different wiring) and the car would not run well it would, but not for long.

I don't know what the effect would be. If you haven't had the ECU tuned for the difference in compression, that could be a problem. Could be something simple like a poorly calibrated TPS or something like that. Did everything come out of the other car? You did the swap and know what came out, so what are the other differences you can thing of?

Can anyone help? It wont go past 3500rpm and the speedometer wont work even tho I have the cable attached, would that contribute to my problem?
