b16a1 into honda prelude?
is this swap feasible? i dont like the fact that h22 and h23's are hella expensive. that and i have a buddy who has a b16a1 in his accord and that thing has some serious scoot. that and 8200 rpms made me jealous of my measly 6700.

Re: b16a1 into honda prelude?
Damn that would be slow, 112 ft/lbs. of tq'ers in a 3000 pound car!
P.S. The stock H23 in the prelude makes 161 hp/ 160 ft/lb of tq. That means you would have done a motor swap for 48 less ft/lbs of tq |
Re: b16a1 into honda prelude?
Sadly, i have the F22 motor.. and its well... sad. i want more power and high rpms. not necesarily something that well out to boosted cars, but something fun to drive.

I would turbo the F motor work with what you got. Bore it out and lower compression.
