b16a issues
drivin home yesterday car started knockin about 500 feet later oil light comes on and goes out. take it slow and go get some more oil, when i remove the oil cap white smoke comes out. its a steady knock but when the gas is hit the knock gets extremly fast and slow when rpms drop...any clue top end or bottom end......rebuild or saveable

Like fabrik8 said, how much oil did you add? What's done to the motor? How were you driving when you noticed the noise? It's hard to say without seeing it , but is sounds like it has a rod knock because as the RPMs increase, the knock increases; which is typical of a rod knock. What part of Richmond are you located?
Don't get me wrong, it could be something completely different but from my experience, it seems to be in the bottom end.

no i didnt forget to change my oil im religous about it.........i had a rear main seal leak i just found, i was driving it down 295 at normal speeds when she started to knock it had how ever much it takes to make the oil light come on...i am located in sandston by the airport if anyone would liketo come look at it this weekend hit me up 804 687 7165 im just not that knowledgeable with them yet first honda....
