is there a special trick to put axles into the transmission.are they supposed to click?it wont go all the way in.ha

I would certainly hope so, because I'm 100% certain that a D series tranny would not bolt up to a b16 block. Now, the problem maybe that he has either the wrong axles or the car is still in gear.

You won't really hear the click. Just grab the inner portion that is in the tranny and pull a little if it don't pop out you should be good to go.

i just helped my buddy with a ls swap in his ek and when we put the axle in it just slid rite back out. the clip on the end of the shaft that locks it in the tranny was bent or sumthing, wouldnt click. we got a new axle and that took care of the problem.
