I got a b16 tranny and it wont go into reverse anymore and fith is hard to go into. Any ideas.

check your shift linkage underneath the car.

linkage or synchros and bearings completly shit out on you.
is it grinding or not seating properly?

No grinding, every other gear works fine its just reverse. i took it to a shop and they said it was the synchros. If you know anybody selling a tranny let me know.

Synchros are pretty easy to replace on a B16 tranny, I'd try to replace them yourself before buying a new tranny. I don't remember if you can buy the syncros individually or if you have to buy the whole set at once.. You can replace the seals and main bearings while you're at it, all that stuff is pretty cheap, and then you'll have a good as new tranny when you're done. FWD Honda trannies are fun to mess around with, they're beautiful pieces of engineering..

I would recomend replacing the 5th/reverse syncro hub assembly. Also while you are in there i would check to see if any other parts need to be replaced.
