Default B16 Problem

I just swapped a jdm B16 into my 90 integra. Motor went in great and started up fine. When i went to pull it out of my garage I noticed i couldnt get the car in first gear. After inspection i realized that the shifter is tilted toward the driver side and the console is stopping the shifter from going into first and second. I checked the linkage and everything looks to connected properly. Did i do something wrong or is there something I dont know. If anyone has had this problem or knows the solution let me know. Thanks

Does the gear shift feel more loose than you are used to, does it wiggle side to side when in gear?
