too much fuel pressure? try replacing the reglator or injectors might be sticking if they sat for awhile

List the engine setup, engine mods, all info you have on what is different from stock. I'm assuming this in the CRX, so you've obviously done a swap, which means there are lots of things that can happen. What ECU are you using, are you throwing any codes, etc..?

I had the same problem with my B16a CRX, Ryan. My map sensor was trashed, well I thought it was but it was the hack job wiring. I was getting 90 miles to the tank. It wasn't cool. Check to make sure the wiring is good first, if so, replace the map sensor and you should be getting better mileage. The map sensor makes the car think its running wide open throttle.

Everyone needs to really pay attention to the wiring with their swaps. Any monkey can drop in an engine, but if you don't get the wiring correct then you'll have no end of problems. This isn't your grandpa's carb'd V8..
Every week it's someone else with a swap and trashed wiring, or someone who let their friend who "knows what they're doing" play with electrons. This is arguably the most important part of a fuel injected swap, make sure to get it right..

Well then you are an idiot.

Read how to do it, if you don't already know how.

Re: B16 getting to much gas

I've seen so many swaps with the wires twisted together and taped, it's sad..
I'm not talking about making everything perfect, I'm talking about actually making something that will last more than week without leaving you stranded on the side of the road. So many people drop the engine in and spend the shortest amount of time possible to get the wiring hooked up so they can fire up the engine and race around the neighborhood at 3 in the morning. A lot of those wiring jobs never get fixed so they last though.
