b16 ek hatch ran thru water now wont go into any gear
so i ran my civic thru about 6 inches of water drove home and let it sit it will not go into gear now when its rumimg and the clutch pedal is soft im thinking maby its the slave cylinder? anyone have any ideas or had a similar problem i gotta drive to flordia next week amd i gotta fix this thing

He wasn't being a smart ass. Sounds to me like a master cylander maybe? Hydro or cable trans?

Sounds like a slave cylinder problem or some water got into the clutch housing and corrosion is causing things to stick or seize with the clutch or pressure plate or throwout bearing.

yeah i'm thinking the same thing I am just worried because of this trip I have coming up, I appreciate everyone input, i'm gonna check it all out tomorrow and see whats up. and yes it will go into all gears when the motor is not running
