B16 check engine light
Ive got a 92 hatch with a second gen b16a. occasionally when i am hard on the gas the check engine light comes on. does it at different rpms. motor doesnt change pace when it does come on just dont know how to check what code it is, i have a pr3 ecu and i dont believe it has a light on it. any suggestions would be appreciated.

if it's really a pr3 it has a light unless someone went out of their way to remove it.

Re: B16 check engine light
The should be a two pin DLC plug tucked under the dash on the passenger side. You have to use a piece of wire or an actual jumper wire if you have one and jump the plug. When you do this your check engine light will flash, count the number of flashes, also, if it blinks fast then slow, count the number of fast ones and slow ones seperately. That means it's a double digit code (2 fast, and 3 slow means Code 23). then you have to look up the code, call honda or something. Good luck
