Default b-series tb on a d-series motor

i was wondering would a b-series tb bolt up to a d-series motor, i know i would probably have to swap out my throttle spring assembly tps and map but i was wondering if it would even bolt up properly

yes it does fit, you might see very minimal gains, but it is better then a d series one.

I've always put the B16 throttle body on my d-series motors (just due to the size intake I had)

yes it will fit and yes you will notice a gain as well. If you get a B18B Ls TB (which is 60mm) and couple that to a skunk2 intake manifold, you will see a nice gain in topend power.

dont forget to port match.

you put a 65mm TB on a 60mm opening and you have done absolutely nothing?

good luck.

change your gasket too
