First off I'm putting a B-series motor into my 99 hatchback. I've been told by some people that I need a Del Sol VTEC bracket and some others have told me I need a 99-00 Si bracket. I have no clue which one I need or if they're both the same.

A couple months ago I purchased a Del Sol bracket from a member here. It's stamped P30. Last night after we got the swap in the car we realized that the bracket wouldn't work.

Help a brother out. Summertime is coming and I needs the AC!

I got you homie...tell those jackasses that tell you you need the del sol bracket, that they should shut the fuck up b/c they don't know jack shit. You can use the 99-00 si bracket or the older model crv that came with the b20. I'm pretty sure the crv one is cheaper. Simple...

Thanks man. Do you know if the P30 stamped bracket is a Del Sol bracket? I'm asking cause I have no idea. The bracket I have now was sold to me as a Del Sol bracket and that shit doesn't work.

i THINK the del sol and 99-00 bracket are the same...

nah dude, same motor, but different chassis. Think about it. The del sol works for 92-95 civics w/ b series.

You need the P54 bracket if your retaining your stock D-Series AC compressor.

99-00 uses a B-Series compressor.

P30 uses a B-Series Compressor.

Oh I didn't see this. P30 is an Obd1 b16, so I'm guessing is came on the del sol. That's was the only obd1 model to ever come with a b16. In fact, you may even have a jdm bracket.

+1 i used the p54 bracket which is a crv one and is cheaper then a del sol vtec one.

I used the crv bracket. Not sure of the code. I can check if you want. I like it, it was freeeeee.
