B-series drivability HELP!
Long story short, last year my motor locked up,no oil to camshaft journal.got a new head installed all new brian crower products. Cams,Valves, retainers.bottom end is a stock.
Finally got the car running, but between 1500-2000rpm car bucks/jerks,so bad that i gotta floor it or let off the gas.Makes it tough driving through the city, now on the highway it drives like a champ!
could it be the cam degree isnt set right? needs tuning? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Re: B-series drivability HELP!
You need to fix the O2 sensor problem and get tuned for those cams. O2 sensor failure can be a strange thing and could definitely cause problems like you're talking about if the sensor is going out of its normal range. In that case, who knows what the ECU is doing to handle that. It should be done fairly gracefully, but if the sensor suddenly changes values and the ECU is going to a faraway spot on one of the maps, who knows...
Anyway though, you know you need a tune, and you know you have an O2 sensor problem. Fix the O2 sensor first, then reset the ECU and see how everything behaves. Then go get tuned when you're able.
