Automatic swap
 
anybody know how and what i might need for an automatic swap? i'm swapping my SOHC to a 98 LS motor. i just need some information and help before i do it.

Damn, I had so much info on this from when I was gonna make my Civic a manual when I planned to do the LS swap. I threw it all away when I sold my Civic. Search the net; there's stuff out there.

clutch line(all of them), master cylinder, clutch slave, the pedal assembly, time and patiences cause its a bitch

He's wanting to swap in an LS automatic in place of his SOHC automatic that he has now. He does not want to do a 5 speed swap I believe.

oh damn..shit will the auto tranny fit...i think you gonna have to redo the tranny mount anyways

Well that makes absolutely no sense, unless you have an addiction to wasting money.

Yeah, I talked to a guy who did an auto LS swap for his wife (because she refused to learn how to drive stick). Lots of custom fabrication was needed, including custom tranny mounts. He said it was a bitch to do, and still slow as hell.
