how much would it set me back to get a manual tranny put into my car instead of the auto thats in it

Around $2,000 when you add up all the parts needed and labor. I did it on my Civic and it's like a whole new car. 20+ hp more than before.

My friend just got quoted $2200 for everything (parts and labor) from a reputable shop to go from a '95 auto LS Integra, to a 5-speed.

a whlie back...i was quoted for a friend 1000 from millenium for parts and labor. u should check them out...
