Default Auto to manual pedal question

Im swaping auto to manual on a del sol. I was wondering if you can just remove the auto brake pedal out of the bracket assembly and put the manual brake pedal in its place instead of swapping the entire gas and brake braket assembly. The gas pedals look the same for both cars.

you can, but its smart to use the entire manual assembly just to avoid future problems down the road
