what all is needed in order to swap a 2000 civic dx from automatic to manual... obviously another trans, the pedals, the gear shift, and a new ecu but is there cutting involved to put the pedal and and what else is needed

ur gonna need a tranny, petals, clutch master cyl and lines, shift linkage, and im pretty sure the trans mount is different. youve got to bust the spot welds off and find a mount for a 5sp get the trans in and lined up and have someone that can actually weld decent to weld it in place. as far as the ecu ive seen people that tune cars turn an automatic ecu into a manual.
