Default alt/sp sensor fuse

my speed is not working i checked the fuse and it was blown tried to put a new one in any idea of what i can do to fix the prob oh yeah its a 97 5spd dx

You didn't say if the new fuse blew as well. If it did. find where the short is and fix it.

check your speedomator cable which plugs into the back of your tranny and make sure its plug ed in ..

its directly behind the back side of your engine between the fire wall and intake man.. but on the tranny if im not mistakin

97 civic = not cable tranny but the speed sensor is located near the firewall side of the tranny under air intake pipe.
