your steering hub adapter should come with the closed loop to not throw a code. As well you can close loop on the pass airbag..
**Removal disconnect the negative terminal of the battery let sit for 5 mins. after that your good to go.

Mounting requires the use of some sort of bonding agent such as double sided tape along the edges or a silicon adhesive. Removal of the factory airbag (SRS) should be done by a trained and certified professional who knows how to disconnect the battery and SRS control unit prior to any airbag removal.

When I changed the wheel on my Si, it was simple bolts and it was out. Unplug the airbag sensors and move aside. Then take a steering wheel puller (you can possible rent one from advance or buy one for like $30) and pull the wheel off.
