Default airbag help

I just picked up a 92 civic, and the airbag assembly is not secured. Meaning if i take a turn the middle of the steering wheel slides out. I am not for sure how i go about getting this thing in there. it was never deployed, the wheel was removed for an aftermarket unit, then put back in. i am concerned for my safety and the fact it annoys the hell out of me. Any help would be appreciated...

I dont know if its on all hondas but there should be a yellow/red clip to put in where the air bag connects and if you put that in it wont go off

there is two wires connecting to the airbag, then a connector and theres another two wires going down the steering column. there should be a plastic piece in there that honda supplies to put in the connector so that it wont go off. you need power and ground for that to go off anyways

check the sides of the steering wheel. there may be little rubber inserts in there that you can remove with screws.

It actually take 4 torques screws. Hopefully it is just missing the screws and will be fixed for you tomorrow.
