Default AFtermarket Motor Mounts

My stock ones are going to shit, and I was thinkin about going aftermarket and getting some decent mounts.

I was just wonderin if it affects daily driving comforts and what not...

im driving a 5th gen lude, but any personal experiences are welcome.

thanks

and while I'm at it, what exactly do strut bars and sway bars do for your ride?

If you get stiffer mounts, the engine vibration will transmit through the body more. Stiffer mounts, more vibration. If you don't absorb vibration, it gets transmitted.

Strut bars keep the strut towers from flexing independently of each other, so they're tied together and more rigid. Steering tends to feel less vague and the front end feels more predictable and planted. Sway bars add a torsion spring between the left and right wheels, decreasing the amount of travel each wheel can have in relation to the other, therefore lowering body roll.

This is true, though, note their mounts and compare to Hasport, then compare their block girdles with Z10's. Probably didnt spend much $$ in R&R.

Get solid motor mounts or do something like this using washers

Sure it vibrates, but don't be a sissy.

It's really not THAT bad with a torque damper and motor mount inserts.
