Does the pump you already have flow enough for what you need? A fuel pump is not a performance part. Either it flows enough or it doesn't, and switching pumps isn't going to net you any gains unless your current pump is undersized.

I currently use an Aeromotive in my street/drag car now. It holds up fine under 20-30psi. But since I'm getting ready to do another build, was just wondering about the Walbro. Couldn't really find any solid reviews using online search. I notice Full Race sells them, as does Tony at T1. Just not a lot of reviews.

I'm not sure what kind of power level you're running, but have you looked at the Bosch motorsport family with the 044 and others? That's probably another option if you're within the flow rating. They do cost a lot more than the Walbro though, but you get a lot of quality for the extra money.

More factors come into play with fuel systems than just the pump. Its all about volume. Line size, regulator spring size, injectors, etc. The bigger the injector the less psi you need to make the same power. But you will still need volume.

I wish I could post the link but I am on my phone. Dynosty.com has side by side flow charts of the walbro 400 vs aeromotive 340 and the aeromotive flows a good deal better. I'm going to guess its more pricey as well

I would go with Bosch 044, have had bad luck with A340's. ( have seen them shit out in E85, and regular 93) Never heard anything bad about the Walbro pumps, and have personally sold 50+ Walbro pumps with no complaints.

Bosch makes a great pump and is used by tons of racers. Both T1 and Full-race are reputable shops.

As far as pump flow, really depends on the feed & return lines

I remember being told to buy 2 walboros to have a replacement when one fails 10 years ago. 3 years ago I bought 2 and have had one in each of my toys and haven't had an issue. One sits all winter, one is daily driven. Maybe they improved their quality.
