Adjusting idle on BBK Throttle Body
OK, i recently installed a BBK 70mm TB on my Teg. at first, my idle was really high. the guy who helped me with the head swap lowered it somehow (i have my boy telling him to call me tomorrow). Now, my idle is low. like 300rpm low. and most of the time when i brake and come to a stop, my car dies out on me. I'm really wearing out the starter here. I have looked for the idle set screw on the TB and found nothing. does anyone know where it might be???
also i just talked to my boy and he said it should be under the throttle dial itself. i looked all around there and there is a small cube with a hole in it going vertical, looks like it has threads in it. could the screw have been here???
any input is needed. thank you

Re: Adjusting idle on BBK Throttle Body
it SHOULD be on the under side of the T/B it is a nut and a screw that are touching or in your case not touching the throttle pulley. look directly on the throttle pulley and see if it is there.

Re: Adjusting idle on BBK Throttle Body
some aftermarket throttle bodies don't have idle screws....i think you can adjust it by adjusting your tps...but don't take my word for it...
