Blue line goes to the low side, red line goes to the high side. Truthfully, it's so simple even a dummy could do it. The lines are different sizes and use different size connection. To make it real easy, the low side will be the line going into the firewall.

I'm talking about the lines on the kit. You've got 2 lines with connectors on them, right? One is high, one is low. Connect the low side line to the tube going into the firewall, and then the high side line goes onto the other tube. If you take a picture of your cars A/C system, I'll go through with paint and circle where you need to hook the lines up to if you'd like.

wasnt your car was originally equiped with r12 refr.?? and you should have all that vacuumed out prior to pumping your system full of 134a. There is also a bunch of other stuff you should do (ie. change compressor oil, evaporator) if you want your conversion to go smooth and not have to worry about locking up your compressor or getting warm air out of the thing.

If you read the label under the hood, it'll tell you which kind of refrigerent it uses and how much it takes. Like most places these days, neither of the shops I've worked at for the past 5 years mess with R12 anymore.
