Question ?

how do u know if u spun a bearing, and how do u check without taking the engine apart, and would u still be able to move the car

ok i spun my rod bearings, if you think you did that leave it alone take the oil pan off and check. if you keep drivin it it'll make it worse

pull the spark plug wires one at a time. Does the sound go away?

hate to revive an extremely old thread, but i'm sure other people are wonderin too... drain your oil and look for metal shavings... basically if your oil sparkles like glitter, then you spun a bearing... also... if it knocks, try to determine if it's from the bottom or the top... bottom end = bearing and top end = valvetrain
